Guilford County Busted Mugshots is not a government office. It cannot confirm custody, release a person, pull an official record, change a booking entry, or answer a legal question. Use the office that created the record. The routing below separates county detention, city police, court, state, federal, and immigration questions.

Use the official inmate catalog for a current county custody search and the recent-arrest catalog for recent bookings. The Sheriff operates two centers and says transfers can occur, so the displayed facility may change.

Records and Public Requests

Submit a focused county request through the Guilford public-records portal. A request should identify the person, event date, agency, facility, and existing record sought. The portal FAQ describes ordinary fees of 15 cents per page, 15 cents per microfiche, and $2 per CD unless a different statute applies. Routine requests are generally handled within 30 business days, while complex or multi-agency work can take longer.

The Sheriff says it does not offer an online incident-report submission option. Use the non-emergency number or the relevant district office for that question.

City Police Records

  • Greensboro Police: Police Records, 336-373-2435, at the 320 Federal Place / 100 Police Plaza records area. Watch Operations is 336-373-2496. GPD arrest-history material covers GPD arrests and charges.
  • High Point Police: 1730 Westchester Drive, High Point, NC 27262, 336-883-3224. Use the city’s police reports and public-search pages for HPD material.
  • Kernersville Police: Stockton Law Enforcement Center, 134 E. Mountain Street, Kernersville, NC 27284. Records is 336-996-2366, generally Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Non-emergency is 336-996-3177.

Kernersville’s town public-record schedule differs from the county’s. It lists 15 cents for black-and-white copies, 25 cents for color, 20/30 cents for 11-by-17 black-and-white or color, $1 for a CD, plus postage and outside-vendor cost where applicable. Payment is due before release.

Courts and Other Custody

Use Guilford County courts and the Clerk for certified copies, disposition questions, and court records. Greensboro Clerk contact is 336-412-7300. High Point courthouse contact is 336-822-6700. The public eCourts Portal is useful but is not a certified court copy.

Use NC Adult Correction for state prison, probation, and parole. Use the BOP locator for federal custody and the ICE locator for immigration detention. Those sources do not replace a local booking record.
